I will translate your business documents into German from English and French. This is a three-step process that includes research in the respective area, translation, and revision of the translated text to ensure you receive a well-researched, high-quality translation that reads well, as if it were written in German.
LOCALIZATION
I will adjust your content to the German market's cultural, linguistic, and regulatory nuances. This is a critical step in ensuring that your text is not only translated, but also truly adapted to the German reader and thus speaks to your intended audience.
REVISION
To ensure a perfectly fluid, clear and natural reading experience, I assess syntax and style in your German texts and documents.
POST-EDITING
I will examine and improve your machine-translated text in order to ensure a correct translation. Since the quality level might be lower than that of a biotranslation, post-edited texts should only be used for non-strategic content.
PROOFREADING
I will check and eliminate errors in grammar, punctuation and spelling of your German text without altering the style.
LEGAL
As a professional translator who has studied law, I am thoroughly familiar with legal terminology and documents, ensuring that your original document is translated accurately and precisely.

About Me
Hello and welcome to my website!
I am a German expat, living in Argenteuil, France. I was born in Germany and lived there permanently until I completed my university education. After my law studies, I started spending large periods of time abroad.
I’ve always had a strong interest in languages and culture, but I’ve never wanted to make it the focus of my work. I envisioned foreign languages as a means to an end. As a result, I’ve been assisting clients in international groups in digitizing and transitioning from traditional work tools to Software as a Service (SaaS). My trilingual professional life with German, English, and French, as well as numerous trips abroad, enabled me to strengthen my foreign language skills.
Translations were always entrusted to me during my professional career. I had pretty much everything on the table at one point or another, whether it was customer communication or – due to my legal training – general terms and conditions and contracts. And I’ve noticed that I really enjoy this work. That’s why I changed careers and went back to school to become a translator. I learned everything I needed to know in these translation studies at Edvenn (Rennes, France) to be able to practice this profession professionally. From translation preparation to translation techniques and the use of CAT tools, revision and glossary creation.

Pricing
PRICING OPTIONS
The price structure differs depending on the service. For translation, revision and proofreading, the price is based on the number of words in the source text. Localization and post-editing, on the other hand, are charged on an hourly basis, as the amount of work involved can vary greatly. For each project, therefore, I will provide you with a price estimate after analyzing your content.
DELIVERY TIME
The delivery time of a translation project depends on the field and the quality of the document. Does the translation require a lot of research? Does the document need to be formatted before it can be translated or delivered in a certain format? After clarifying these questions, I can work with you to agree on a delivery date. Of course, I will do my best to take into account your desired delivery date.
SURCHARGE
There are surcharges for some services. If you need a translation urgently, overnight or over the weekend, this will incur a +30% surcharge. Also, a very poor quality source document may possibly incur a surcharge.
